Eyebrows
If you use pencil to define your eyebrows, permanent eyebrows would certainly rid you of that burden. Keep your eyebrows on during swimming, aerobic classes and while you sleep. An eyebrow procedure may take on the appearance as simulated hair strokes or a very light shading of color underneath existing light, sparse eyebrow hairs.
Cosmetic Makeup Enhancements
Up Liner & Up Color
A lip liner not only defines the existing lip line, but may also augment the size or camouflage any scars, such as hair lips. Lip augmentation appears to increase the size and fullness of the natural lip line. Loss of natural lip color through the aging process benefits dramatically from this procedure. A very popular enhancement and a beautiful one at that.
Permanent makeup such as eyeliner, eyebrows; and lip liners are natural lines of definition.

Will I need a patch test?
A patch test may be performed at the time of the consultation to assess for allergies and or color match. This patch test is simple and is done either on the scalp, behind the ear or directly over the area to be tattooed if color is in question.
Is it painful?
Highly effective topical anesthetics are applied to the area to numb and provide comfort to ensure a perfect procedure. Depending on which anesthetics are used, generally there is minimal, if any, discomfort.
What is involved in the healing and post-care?
There is some redness and slight swelling immediately following the procedure. This disappears quickly after the procedure. Applying ice is helpful for some. Applying Polysporin or petroleum jelly for 5-7 days after the procedure is critical to keep the area moist.
Will I need more than one appointment?
A touch up appointment is usually needed 3 to 8 weeks after the initial appointment. This second appointment will perfect and detail the final look. As the years pass (5-10 years), re-enhancements or maintenance may be desired for some people.
What is the pigment composed of?
Pigments are made of mineral, iron oxide base colorants. These colorants and dispersing solutions are FDA, Food, Drug & Cosmetic approved.
Who performs these procedures?
Trained and qualified micro-pigmentation technicians will consult and review with you your best choice of colors and shape. Confirmation of sterilization standards and hygiene in the work place is essential.
Micro-Pigmentation, also known as permanent makeup, is a procedure
applying pigment into the dermal layer of the skin. This state-of-the-art
procedure has been performed for a variety of makeup enhancements
for hundreds of years. Cosmetic tattooing can offer subtle encouragement
and enhances lip liner & lip color, upper and lower eyeliners
and eyebrows.
In the more recent years, permanent color techniques are being widely performed for camouflage therapy such as creating the illusion of areolas and nipple restoration, vitiligo, hypo-pigmentation and hairline scars.
Other than esthetic enhancement and definition, cosmetic tattooing
has many other benefits. The visually-impaired, handicapped and
alopecia patients benefit tremendously by implanting pigment underneath
the skin.
Licensed Practical Nurses and
Certified Laser Technicians perform all procedures.
